Phoenix, the sixth-largest city in the United States, offers a multitude of cultural and recreational activities throughout the year. The famous Arizona Center, located downtown, features more than 60 restaurants, shops, nightclubs, and entertainment venues. Visitors can also experience a wide variety of fine restaurants, many of which offer the unique and spicy flavors of Southwestern cuisine.
Sports fans will enjoy the city's four major league sports teams. Bank One Ballpark in downtown Phoenix is home to major league baseball's Arizona Diamondbacks. The stadium is unique with its retractable roof and air conditioning. Located next door is American West Arena, which is home to basketball and hockey franchises, the Phoenix Suns and the Phoenix Coyotes, respectively. Fans can also enjoy the Arizona Cardinals and NFL football action at Devil Stadium.
